1. Login to Manga High at bit.ly/mangahigh
2. Play and earn at least a silver medal for each of the following Challenges:
a.) Surface Area of a Cone
b.) Surface Area of a Cylinder
c.) Surface Area of Joined Shapes

4th 6 Weeks Project
Due Friday, February 17, 2012
1. Login to Manga High at bit.ly/mangahigh
2. Play the Transtar Game
3. Earn a bronze medal your grade will be 80, Earn a silver medal, your grade will be a 90, Earn a gold medal, your grade will be 100.
4. Top 5 scorers will receive bonus extra credit points.

3rd 6 Weeks Project
Due Friday, December 3rd, by the end of day.

1. Login to Manga High at bit.ly/mangahigh
2. Complete the challenges Interior Angles of a Polygon, Exterior Angles of a Polygon, and Regular Polygons, with at least a bronze medal.
3. Extra points will be awarded for medals earned above bronze.

2nd 6 Weeks Project
Due Monday, October 31, 2011, by the end of class.

1. Create a brochure/poster about the different centers of a triangle. You must include at least four centers.
Points will be given on accuracy, completeness (describing how a center can be determined and why it is useful) and creativity.

1st 6 Weeks Project
Due Thursday, September 29, 2011 by the end of class.

1. Create two foldables. A foldable on Slope and a foldable on Forms of Linear Equations
2. Points will be awarded based on accuracy, completeness, and creativity.
3. Remember to make sure all foldables are labeled with your first and last name and class period.

3. Use google docs to create a form to make your questionaire. Send the form to 20 people and ask them to fill it out.
4. Have members of your class fill out your group's questionaire.

While logged into Google Docs, the president will access This File , Go to File -> Make a Copy -> and Name it Period_GroupName_BusinessFinancials (example: 6thPeriod_TheBookSellers_BusinessFinancials). Share it (Blue Button on Top Right of Screen) with me (rigginsmath@gmail.com) and everyone of your group members.

Due Monday, February 13, 2012 (at the beginning of class)
1. Geometric Music Composition
2. See handout and complete by turning in the graphed composition, the composition matrix and the transparency copy of the tone row.

3rd 6 Weeks Project
Due Friday, December 9, 2011, by the end of the day. Project Outline
1. Select 4 stocks (try finance.google.com) and the number of shares for each stock for your project so that the purchase price is no more than $1000.
2. Go to the form Initial Form fill it out and submit it.
3. Access the Tracker form, copy it and name it as period_Yourname (Example: 6thPeriod_JaneDoe).
4. Share your file with me at rigginsmath@gmail.com by hitting the Share Button on the Top Right.
5. Fill out the Tracker form page 1 with the stock code, and initial price for your four stocks.
5. Continue to track the closing price of each of your shares in the corresponding week spreadsheets. (Only enter information in the green sheet).

1. Create a google email with your first and last name. (If you already have one make sure it is a professional email, not hottotrot93@gmail.com)

3. Select a quantity that you will be able to track over a six week period. For example; The number of sodas you drink a day, the minutes it takes to get to school. ...)
4. Track the quantity for 7 consecutive days on your Data Tracker.
5. Record the results in the google docs data spreadsheet that you have shared with Ms. Riggins. ( We will discuss more when we visit the computer lab.)
